I play midsize golf pride tour velvet usually which are tough to beat but these glp are quite comparable. I like that they’re a little firmer creating a bit more tack. Affordable too I just built some dope 790’s w the blue glp 👍🏻👍🏻

I decided to take a chance and order the GLP Velvet Bundle and save a buttload of money over what Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips would have cost. It's worth noting those are exactly what I was replacing, so I'm well aware of how they feel. I also typically do my own re-gripping, so I'm familiar with the process and tools involved. The nicest thing was the included hook blade. Albeit, the plastic holder it comes in is pretty cheap, but it held up just fine working through all my old grips, including the Super Stroke grip I took off my putter. Never having used a hook blade before (I'd always just used a straight blade on my utility knife), it was awesome and so easy to use. But, let's be honest, nobody is ordering this bundle based on the kit. The grips are what matter. So...

They're awesome. They're very easy to put on (not unlike other tour velvet grips), and when they first go on, and you tap the end of the shaft on the floor to make sure it's on all the way and square, and the grip and your hands still have solvent on them, the grips already feel good. I did a few grips a day over a couple of days, and when I checked them out with clean hands and the solvent all gone, they felt fantastic. After getting them all finished up, I got to play a round of golf with them, and I can honestly say they performed at least as well (if not better) as your high priced tour velvet grip. They're grippy but not sticky, comfortable, and just feel good in your hands.

Final thought? 5 out of 5, will absolutely be a repeat customer, and have already told friends about them. Hey, Wedge Guys! Don't change a thing about these grips, because I'll be back next year for more.

I’ve had these grips for a bit. I liked how they felt right from the start. Tacky and firm, but not too tacky or too firm. The only problem I have, they have started turning my hands blue. The die is rubbing off when I practice. I definitely don’t love that. Probably will have to switch to something else, prematurely. They don’t seem worn out at all, but I don’t want to be a Smurf either.
